Former Georgia House Representative
Dee Dawkins-HaigAler began her career in the Criminal Justice system with her appointment to the Pardons and Parole Board in South Carolina. After relocating with her family to the State of Georgian, she became a member of the General Assembly where she served in the Georgia House of Representatives as State Representative for House District 91 from 2009 to 2017. Mrs. Haigler was also the Chairwoman of the Georgia Legislative Black Caucus, and a lifetime member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and the Jack and Jill Organization. In addition to her passion for politics, Dee has become a strong advocate for Medical Marijuana since her battle in 2015 with Breast Cancer. She is a strong advocate for legalizing Marijuana and a member of the Cannabis Coalition.
