Patty is the security and transportation technical lead for ASTM’s International D37 Committee responsible for developing safety and security standards for the legal cannabis and hemp’s global industry, QAcanna cannabis business board member, a former Special Agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and security advisor and consultant within the federal and defense sectors. A security strategic planning,developer and manager, lead trainer and risk solutions advisor, who addresses the spectrum of clients’ needs. She has operated in various capacities over the past 25 years, from crisis risk planning, to law enforcement officer, field training supervisor to senior instructor. She began her career in the U.S. Marine Corps as a Military Police Officer, then as a leader of the original team that introduced and implemented the civilian law enforcement into the U.S. Marine Corps. She is a certified trainer in women's self-defense and basic pistol instruction.
