Karen Pena is a quality engineer who's worked in the highly regulated medical device industry. Her professional experience, focused on process improvement, includes diverse roles in Quality, Operations, and R&D for both national and international projects. She's currently a managing consultant at The GMP Collective and an ISO 9001:2015 Auditor with SGS, the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing, and certification company. She consults on all aspects of Quality Management Systems to reduce risk and increase efficiency by supporting organizations with conforming to regulatory requirements and industry standards. Ms. Pena;a’s current objective is to strengthen the emerging cannabis industry by bringing a quality engineering mindset to bear on every aspect of the business.
