Buzz Sierke has had a life-long interest in growing and creating the ideal greenhouse to ensure optimum indoor growing.

Gothic Arch Greenhouses has been the Sierke’s family-owned business for over 70 years, growing and expanding their long history of excellence each growing season.

Gothic Arch began in 1946, when Buzz’s grandfather and father started "Trans-Sphere Trading Corporation," a traditional Import/Export Company. During the 50’s, due to the many ornamental nurseries in the area, they began specializing in horticultural products. They initially began importing peat moss from Germany, soon adding reed mats from Austria, kelp meal from Norway as micro-nutrient, burlap and pinning nails for use in ball and burlap preparation of field grown stock for market.

Soon, they began to see the need for a line of affordable, functional, easy to build greenhouses and began experimenting with various styles of designs and materials. Over time, they finally settled on a Gothic Arch style designed by Wm. T. Sierke because of its strength, durability, good looks, optimum light and heat transmitting properties, and ease of construction. They soon enhanced and strengthened the framing and added a rigid, more substantial cover. Gothic Arch Greenhouses was able to adapt these small, hobby-size units to appeal to growers of all levels, from backyard gardeners to educators.

Gothic Arch Greenhouses are framed in locally-sourced, plentiful, sustainable heart cypress. Our commitment to building a product that is environmentally sound and stands up to the elements no matter the climate is unwavering. We continue to produce the finest greenhouses for sale anywhere, with friendly, knowledgeable customer support and hassle-free shipping that ensures you a pleasant experience start to finish.
